Dr. Krestos started working at Emerald Coast Dental Spa and Sleep Medicine in April of 2021 as a dental associate after moving to Panama City from Newport, Rhode Island with her husband and three daughters. She has practiced general dentistry for ten years, to include her service as a military dentist in Washington DC and Japan. She completed her SMART (Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique) certification in 2022. The SMART certification signifies that a dentist has completed the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology’s educational program about rigorous recommendations for removing existing dental mercury amalgam fillings. She is currently the only SMART dentist in Northwest Florida and surrounding counties. For more information about SMART please see our services page.
